Anyone venturing into affiliate marketing will have heard of the big daddy of all affiliate networks: ClickBank.

It's popular, for a very good reason. ClickBank has thousands of products, and good payout system, good link tracking and more. Yet many people are jumping in without even the slightest knowledge of how it works. In this ClickBank tutorial, I'll show you the three easy steps to get up and running in no time at all.

Your first step is to find a niche market to promote to.

What is a niche market? Simply put, it's a market that isn't too large. It's a market aimed at people looking for something specifically. Take a product like Laptop Skins. That's quite a wide market, and it would be hard to promote a product to the audience, as we know that the audience won't be looking for laptop skins in general. They'll be looking for a specific type of laptop skin, perhaps for their new MacBook Pro 13". THAT'S a niche market, and you could certainly put a website together with three 'reviews' of each.

Drill down your market (hunt through some magazines for market inspiration) to something specific. Then move onto step two.

Secondly, find a ClickBank product.

Now that you have a niche market, head over to ClickBank and find yourself a good little product. Make sure it's related to your niche, and check out things like how much it pays, how popular it is and the percentage of affiliates selling it. A ClickBank tutorial wouldn't be a tutorial without a warning that warns you that popular products aren't always the best. If it's popular, it's a safe bet that it will be hard to get traction in the search engines.

Visit the merchants website, while in the 'role' of your target audience member. If the page would make you want to buy it, then it's good, and go with it.

Thirdly, get a website up and running.

Go to to a free website maker like Blogger, or Squidoo, and make an account there. Now it's time to start promoting your product. For this, pretend you have a friend in your target market, and write the page to them. Offer them information (very important this one), as information leads to a higher trust, and means that people are more likely to trust your recommendation at the end. Include your 'keyword' throughout the piece. A keyword is a phrase that people will enter into a search engine (like Google or Yahoo) to find your piece. Again, think like the customer. What would they enter to find out information on this subject?

Finally, make your recommendations for the products, and link them via your special ClickBank link.

Then watch the money roll in!

Now, one site will not make you wealthy, it probably won't make you much at all. To really use this method well, you need lot's of sites, so don't stop at one! Most ClickBank tutorials would want you to hit up some forums, and tell them of your reviews, however be very careful not to be a spammer.
